Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects across the assigned region. This remote role requires regular travel to project sites in the Southwest to train field teams, perform audits, and conduct First Article inspections.

You will implement quality plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across projects. A background in engineering with QA/QC and electrical safety is essential, along with strong experience in construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• OSHA 10/30 certifications or journeyman status.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC methodologies and electrical safety.
• Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS, SOPs and contract requirements.
• Establish, maintain, and improve quality systems to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project quality with inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards and AHJ requirements.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and processes in PV projects within your region.
• Provide direct training on QA/QC practices and SOLV SOPs to project teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients on quality issues.
• Document inspections, audits and corrective actions; report to management.
• Utilize Sunscreen software to document quality matters and train teams.
• Conduct frequent audits on documentation, installation procedures and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
