Job summary

Balco, Inc. is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to drive regional growth for architectural product lines. You will prospect, close deals, and expand wallet share with architects, contractors, and distributors, while showcasing Balco’s innovative solutions.

The role is remote, with travel up to 50%+ to client sites, trade shows, and dealer meetings. A B2B sales background in construction or design is preferred, along with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• B2B outside sales experience, ideally in construction or architectural design.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas through relationship-building and consultative selling.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and project lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for face-to-face interactions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outside sales activities to achieve regional sales targets, including prospecting and closing deals with new customers across our architectural product line.
• Identify and engage specialty contractors, demonstrating Balco Architectural Products outperform competitors, and facilitate product switches through consultations and demonstrations.
• Travel regionally (up to 50% or more) to meet clients, attend trade shows, dealer meetings, and industry events to generate leads and expand market penetration.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure seamless order fulfillment.
