Job summary

Balco, Inc. is seeking a motivated outside sales professional to grow our architectural product line across a regional market. You will prospect, demo, and close deals with architects, contractors, and distributors, while traveling regionally to client sites and trade shows.

This remote-friendly role requires strong relationship-building, construction industry knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A valid U.S. driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• B2B outside sales experience in construction or architectural design.
• Proven track record meeting sales quotas via relationships and consultative selling.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and project lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outside sales to achieve regional targets and close deals with new customers.
• Engage specialty contractors and demonstrate Balco architectural products.
• Expand wallet share across multiple product categories and systems.
• Build relationships with accounts, distributors, and designers via meetings and events.
• Provide product demonstrations and technical education to address design needs.
• Travel regionally up to 50% or more to meet clients and attend events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and ensure order fulfillment.
• Track sales performance and market trends using CRM tools.
