Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Regional Business Director - Neuroscience to lead and develop a sales team across a defined region. You will recruit, coach, and manage Neuroscience Sales Representatives, align field activities with brand strategy, and drive achievement of regional targets while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Value & Access and Regional Reimbursement teams to optimize payer access and market growth, building strong relationships with key opinion leaders and accounts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years sales experience within biopharma, with a minimum of 3 years of sales leadership experience for Neuroscience products.
• Experience with injectable medications and both buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy fulfilment pathways.
• Extensive knowledge of the payer landscape in the assigned region and factors that drive access.
• Familiar with trade relations, reimbursement environment, government programs, managed care, formulary and contracts.
• Significant experience with payer or integrated health systems and key account management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Neuroscience sales force activities within the assigned region, including recruiting, hiring, training, development, performance evaluation, and compliance with Ipsen's policies.
• Meet or exceed the Region's sales targets and align field activities to brand initiatives.
• Analyze the Region's business and build short- and long-term plans to drive sales growth.
• Set expectations and evaluate compliance with Regulatory Standards and Promotional Policies.
• Coach NSRs to improve core sales competencies including reimbursement/fulfillment skills.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key thought leaders and accounts to achieve objectives.
• Partner with Value & Access and Regional Reimbursement Managers to drive access and brand objectives.
• Allocate and manage region budget; communicate market intelligence to brand teams.
