Job summary

Ipsen seeks a Regional Business Director - Neuroscience to lead and develop a high-performing sales team across the assigned region. You will recruit, coach, and evaluate Neuroscience Specialty Representatives, align field activities with brand initiatives, and drive attainment of regional sales targets while ensuring compliance with Ipsen’s corporate policies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years sales experience within biopharma, with a minimum of 3 years of sales leadership experience for Neuroscience products
• Experience with injectable medications and both buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy fulfillment pathways
• Extensive knowledge of the payer landscape in the assigned region and factors driving access and product pull-through
• Familiar with trade relations, reimbursement environment, government programs, managed care, formulary and contract negotiation
• Significant experience with payer or integrated health systems and key account management

Responsibilities

• Lead the Neuroscience sales force activities within the assigned region, including recruiting, hiring, training, development, performance evaluation, and compliance with Ipsen’s corporate policies
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding the Region’s assigned sales targets and aligning field activities to the brand’s strategic initiatives
• Analyze the Region’s business and build short- and long-term plans to drive sales growth
• Set clear expectations and evaluate compliance with regulatory standards and promotional policies
• Coach NSRs to improve core sales competencies including reimbursement/fulfillment skills
• Partner with Value & Access and Regional Reimbursement Managers to develop access strategies
• Allocate and manage the region’s budget and develop relationships with Key Thought Leaders
• Develop cross-functional partnerships and utilize Ipsen’s resources to achieve objectives
