Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Regional Business Director - Neuroscience to lead, coach, and manage Neuroscience Sales Representatives in a defined region. You will develop business plans, implement national strategies, and drive high-impact opportunities by analyzing needs and aligning resources with customer-centric approaches.

The role requires extensive neuroscience sales leadership experience, strong payer and access expertise, and a track record of meeting or exceeding regional sales targets.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• 8+ years of sales experience in biopharma with at least 3 years in sales leadership for neuroscience products.
• Experience with injectable medications and buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy fulfilment.
• Extensive knowledge of payer landscape and factors driving access.
• Familiar with trade relations, reimbursement environment, government programs, managed care, formulary and contract negotiation.
• Significant experience with payer or integrated health systems and key account management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Neuroscience sales force activities within the assigned region, including recruiting, hiring, training, development, performance evaluation, and compliance with corporate policies.
• Meet or exceed the region's sales targets and align field activities to brand initiatives.
• Analyze the region's business and develop short- and long-term plans to drive sales growth.
• Set expectations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promotional policies.
• Coach NSRs to improve core sales competencies including product and reimbursement skills.
• Develop relationships with key thought leaders and internal teams to support brand objectives.
• Manage region budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Establish cross-functional partnerships to achieve regional objectives.
