Dog Friendly Co is expanding into U.S. retail and seeks a Regional Territory Manager to lead the Southeast launch (FL, GA, Carolinas). You will build the first retail presence for independent pet retailers, with strong marketing support and leadership access.

This builder role offers growth in responsibility and compensation as the brand scales. You’ll drive new business, manage distributor partnerships, and train store staff while reporting territory progress and sales forecasts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside B2B sales or territory management.
• Energy and excitement to engage with retailers and consumers.
• Proven record of beating sales targets with a hands-on approach.
• Strong relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-starter who plans their own week and works independently.
• Comfort with CRM tools, Excel or Google Sheets, and basic sales reporting.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to travel overnight up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Launch the brand in the region by building the territory from zero.
• Win new business by prospecting and closing independent pet stores and pet services.
• Collaborate with distribution and activat distributor partners.
• Drive sell-through with events, demos, and training.
• Execute at retail with planograms, merchandising, displays, and POS materials.
• Train store staff on product knowledge to engage pet parents.
• Represent the brand at regional trade shows and events.
• Plan territory, forecast sales, and maintain CRM records.
• Share insights to inform national go-to-market strategy.
