Champion Petfoods is expanding! We are looking for a Regional Distributor Manager, U.S. to join our rapidly growing company.

This fully remote role can sit near Boulder (CO), Dallas (TX), Phoenix (AZ) or Southern California (CA), with 40-50% travel within the assigned geography. You will lead distributor performance, translate national strategy to regional plans, and drive growth through distributor partnerships. Reporting to the Director, U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive sales experience in pet industry or distribution.
• Proven success managing distributor relationships and growth through indirect channels.
• Ability to develop and execute business plans delivering revenue growth and distribution gains.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and ROI management.
• Experience influencing and developing sales teams without direct reporting authority.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into growth strategies.
• Collaborative, self-motivated leader in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and sales reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel 40-50%.

Responsibilities

• Own sales, distribution, and execution results with distributor partners across assigned regions.
• Hold distributors accountable to sales targets, distribution objectives and growth priorities.
• Monitor distributor performance via KPIs and adjust plans as needed.
• Evaluate distributor effectiveness, market coverage, and ROI.
• Develop and execute Joint Business Plans with distributors aligned to national objectives.
• Identify opportunities to increase market penetration and share.
• Lead annual planning, forecasting, and business reviews with distributors.
• Align distributor investments to maximize performance and impact.
• Coach Distributor Sales Representatives to improve execution and effectiveness.
• Conduct market visits to assess retail execution and pricing.
• Deliver product education and development support to distributor networks.
• Ensure execution excellence against merchandising and distribution goals.
• Partner with retailers to grow distribution and customer satisfaction.
• Lead forecasting, analytics, and financial management for the region.
• Manage trade investments and promotions to maximize ROI.
• Analyze performance and trends to suggest growth opportunities.
• Provide updates to the Director, U.S. Sales.
• Represent Champion at events and with distributor partners.
