Job summary

Champion Petfoods seeks a Regional Distributor Manager, U.S. to drive growth through distributor partners across the region. This fully remote role reports to the Director, U.S.

Sales, Neighborhood Pet, and requires strategic planning, strong relationship management, and execution excellence in both distributor and retail settings. You will translate national sales strategy into regional plans, lead distributor performance, and develop sales teams to deliver profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive sales experience in pet industry, CPG, or distribution-driven environment.
• Proven success managing distributor relationships and indirect sales channels.
• Ability to develop and execute business plans driving revenue growth and market penetration.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, analytics, and ROI management.
• Travel ~40–50% within assigned geography.

Responsibilities

• Own sales, distribution, and execution results across distributors and territories.
• Hold distributors accountable to annual sales targets, promos, and growth priorities.
• Monitor performance via KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead Joint Business Plans and align investments to maximize ROI and impact.
• Coach Distributor Sales Representatives to improve execution and effectiveness.
• Develop retailer growth strategies with distributors and key customers.
