Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a proactive Labor Relations Manager to support labor relations operations across multiple construction projects in the Western region.

The role partners with project teams, unions, and field leadership to ensure projects are set up for success from a labor relations and workforce perspective. The ideal candidate excels at fostering strong relationships with unions, administering CBAs/PLAs, and resolving employee relations matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial construction with unions.
• Experience administering CBAs in union environments.
• Strong background in private sector labor relations.
• High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret CBAs and PLAs.
• Support negotiations of CBAs, PLAs, MOUs, and other labor agreements.
• Interpret labor contracts and state or national law and provide guidance to project teams.
• Assist with internal investigations, grievances, and dispute resolution with Legal Counsel.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and regional union leadership and job stewards.
• Coordinate project startup activities including workforce planning, pre-job conferences, and trainings.
• Maintain labor relations records and databases in accordance with company standards.
