Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a proactive Labor Relations Manager to support labor relations across multiple construction projects in the Western region.

The role partners with project teams, unions, and field leadership to ensure projects are set up for success from a labor relations and workforce perspective. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively, administer CBAs/PLAs, and resolve employee relations matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations, Construction Management, Business Administration, or Human Resources.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial construction with unions.
• Experience administering CBAs and working in union environments.
• Strong background in private sector labor relations.
• High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret CBAs and Project Labor Agreements (PLAs).
• Support negotiations of CBAs, PLAs, MOUs, and other labor agreements.
• Interpret labor contracts and state or national law and guide project teams on compliance.
• Assist with internal investigations, grievances, and dispute resolution with Legal Counsel.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local and regional union leadership and job stewards.
• Coordinate project startup activities including workforce planning, pre-job conferences, and labor relations trainings.
• Maintain labor relations records and databases.
