Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a proactive Labor Relations Manager to oversee labor relations operations across multiple construction projects and business groups in the Western region.

The role partners with project teams, unions, and field leadership to set projects up for success from a labor relations perspective. The ideal candidate communicates effectively, administers CBAs and PLAs, and resolves employee relations matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Construction Management, Business Administration, or HR.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial construction with unions.
• Experience administering CBAs and working in union environments.
• Strong ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Public speaking, presentation, and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and Project Labor Agreements (PLAs).
• Support negotiations of CBAs, PLAs, MOUs, and other labor agreements.
• Interpret labor contracts and state or national law and guide project teams on compliance.
• Assist with internal investigations, grievances, and dispute resolution with Legal Counsel.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local and regional union leadership and job stewards.
• Coordinate project startup activities including workforce planning, pre-job conferences, and trainings.
• Maintain labor relations records and databases in line with company standards.
