Job summary

CAI is hiring a Regional Grant Coordinator to support Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation Program MRIHA region. The role is full-time, hybrid in Indianapolis, IN, and remote-friendly with no visa sponsorship.

You will manage regional contracts, ensure compliance, and collaborate with statewide partners to strengthen rural health. The position requires a public health/administration background and 5+ years in grant management, with strong communication and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, public policy, business administration, or related field.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently as a remote field-based contractor.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary regional contract manager for RHTP funding.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal requirements, including expenditures and reporting.
• Support IDOH in ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
• Coordinate regional data collection and CMS reporting requirements.
• Engage regional stakeholders and represent rural needs across partnerships.
• Track progress, identify barriers, and support problem-solving to maintain momentum.
