Job summary

CAI is seeking a Regional Grant Coordinator to support Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation Program (MRIHA) regional grants. The role is full-time, long-term, and hybrid in Indianapolis, IN, with remote work options and travel within the region.

The coordinator will manage contracts, ensure compliance, track milestones, and collaborate with statewide partners to strengthen rural health systems. Candidates must have a public health/related degree and multi-year grant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, public policy, business administration or related field.
• 5 years of experience in grant management, contract oversight, program administration, or related work.
• 3 years of experience working with healthcare organizations, rural communities, or public health systems.
• 2 years of experience with compliance, budgeting, and reporting requirements for state or federal grants.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary regional contract manager for organizations receiving RHTP funding.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal requirements, including expenditures and documentation standards.
• Support IDOH in ensuring regional coalitions meet milestones and timelines.
• Coordinate with Technical Assistance Providers and participate in regional meetings.
• Coordinate regional data collection, performance tracking, and CMS reporting requirements.
• Serve as day-to-day liaison between IDOH and regional coalitions.
