Job summary

CAI is seeking a Regional Grant Coordinator to support Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation Program (MRIHA regional grants). The role is hybrid in Indianapolis, IN, long-term, remote-capable, and contract-based.

The selected candidate will manage regional grant activities and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements. Responsibilities include contract management, CMS reporting, coordinating with assistance providers, and engaging regional stakeholders while supporting implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, public policy, business administration, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in grant management, contract oversight, program administration, or related work.
• 3 years of experience with healthcare organizations, rural communities, or public health systems.
• 2 years of experience with compliance, budgeting, and reporting requirements for state or federal grants.
• Ability to work remotely as a contractor.
• Must reside within the assigned RHTP region and travel regularly.
• Experience with CMS-funded programs.
• Familiarity with Indiana's rural health landscape.

Responsibilities

• Regional Grant & Contract Management: Serve as the primary regional contract manager for organizations receiving RHTP funding.
• Coordinate CMS reporting requirements and ensure timely submission of regional reports.
• Regional Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Liaise with hospitals, clinics, EMS providers, and community organizations.
• Program Implementation Support: Interpret state guidance, track progress, and support problem-solving.
• Coordinate with Technical Assistance Providers to ensure aligned regional support.
