Job summary

CAI is hiring a Regional Grant Coordinator to support Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation Program and MRIHA regional grants. This full-time, hybrid position is based in Indianapolis, IN, and emphasizes contract management, CMS reporting, and regional stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in grant management, strong compliance and budgeting skills, and the ability to collaborate with statewide providers to drive program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5 years of experience in grant management, contract oversight, program administration, or related work.
• 3 years of experience with healthcare organizations, rural communities, or public health systems.
• 2 years of experience with compliance, budgeting, and reporting requirements for state or federal grants.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently as a remote field-based contractor.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary regional contract manager for organizations receiving RHTP funding.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal requirements, including expenditures, budgets, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate with IDOH to ensure regional coalitions meet milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Coordinate regional data collection and CMS reporting requirements.
• Engage regional stakeholders and promote diverse rural representation.
