Job summary

Regal Rexnord in the Ohio Valley region seeks a driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth by securing new customers, understanding needs and presenting our products. The role is fully remote but requires travel within the territory.

You will collaborate with manufacturers’ reps, lead regional sales initiatives, and work with inside sales and product teams to close deals and exceed quotas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 4-5+ years of related sales experience preferred.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives.
• Deep understanding of industry standards and regulations, including UL, IEEE, NEC, and IEC.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of customer and market dynamics.
• Exceptional ability to prospect, qualify, and close new customers.
• This fully remote role requires extensive travel within the assigned territory, and the individual must live in or around the Ohio Valley area.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region.
• Understand market trends and customer needs to effectively position our products.
• Drive innovation by pinpointing product gaps and championing new product development projects.
• Working closely with the Manufacturers’ representative to provide guidance, support and progression in assigned regions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to solve problems, remove barriers, and provide exceptional value, ensuring customer needs are met while fostering satisfaction and loyalty.
• Present and explain our product features and benefits to customers, using technical knowledge to demonstrate how our products meet their needs.
• Engage with both national and regional channel partners to leverage their exposure and resources to earn share in the market.
• Team up with inside sales, product management, and other departments to develop winning sales strategies, improve product offerings, and deliver above-quota growth.
