Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive rapid growth across the Ohio Valley. The role is fully remote with travel within the territory and requires a builder mindset to identify opportunities, build relationships, and exceed sales targets.

You will collaborate with regional partners and cross‑functional teams to position products, close deals, and expand market share while maintaining customer success and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4-5+ years of related sales experience preferred.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives.
• Deep understanding of industry standards and regulations (UL, IEEE, NEC, IEC).
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of customer and market dynamics.
• Exceptional ability to prospect, qualify, and close new customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region.
• Understand market trends and customer needs to position our products effectively.
• Drive innovation by pinpointing product gaps and championing new development projects.
• Work with the Manufacturers’ representative to provide guidance and progression in the region.
• Act as a trusted advisor to solve problems, remove barriers, and foster loyalty.
• Present and explain product features, demonstrating how they meet customer needs.
• Engage with national and regional channel partners to grow market share.
• Collaborate with inside sales, product management, and other departments on winning strategies.
