Job summary

The Regional Account Manager will build long-term customer relationships, craft forecasts, and manage quotes to drive projects, while collaborating with service teams.

The role is remote with Southeast US coverage (GA, AL, NC, SC, FL) and requires 5+ years B2B sales, CRM proficiency, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Technical degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of B2B experience selling complex products and solutions.
• Knowledge of the municipal water treatment market.
• Hands-on experience using a CRM (Salesforce.com).
• Able to travel up to 50% of the time in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly sales territory, account plans and customer engagement to achieve targets.
• Prepare and present a monthly funnel review in SFDC to demonstrate funnel quality and activity plans.
• Prepare monthly forecasts by handling opportunity dates, values, and probabilities in SFDC.
• Collect and report information on competitive activity, trends, and results within the market.
• Participate in customer site visits, trade seminars, shows, and channel management.
• Work with cross-functional teams to plan and solve problems.
