Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician (Tech Wizard) to directly communicate with end users and field technicians, providing phone/email support for warranty and non-warranty cold side foodservice equipment. On onboarding completion, there is an opportunity to earn CFESA certifications.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, troubleshooting, and the use of manuals and diagrams to diagnose issues, with a strong team culture and potential for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC is a plus or relevant training/schooling.
• You are an all-star communicator and proficient in English (written and verbal).
• You have a high-speed internet connection at home and are comfortable using a computer and common office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, communicating equipment information and troubleshooting solutions in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide technical support to end users and field technicians over the phone and/or via email (30+ cases per day).
• Utilize manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain all customer call information in a company database to assist future inquiries.
• Work with manufacturers to recommend engineering changes and document failure rates.
