Job summary

Parts Town is hiring an Inside Service Technician to support end users and field engineers, handling warranty and non-warranty repairs on foodservice equipment. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, strong troubleshooting, and ongoing CFESA certifications after onboarding.

Requirements include experience in appliance repair (electric/gas), HVAC knowledge, and strong English communication. A reliable home internet connection and proficiency with MS Word/Outlook are needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Reliable high-speed internet at home.
• Proficient with MS Word and Outlook.
• Passionate about troubleshooting and finding innovative solutions.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willing to work an 8-hour shift Mon-Fri within 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST / 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, communicating equipment information and troubleshooting solutions clearly.
• Provide technical support to end users and field technicians (30+ cases/day).
• Use manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Log all customer call information into the company database for future inquiries.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to recommend engineering changes and document failure rates.
