Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician (Tech Wizard) who will directly communicate with end users and field technicians to provide technical support over the phone and by email, assisting in repairs on warranty and non-warranty cold side foodservice equipment. Upon onboarding, you may pursue CFESA certifications.

You will troubleshoot using manuals and wiring diagrams, document calls in our database, and collaborate with manufacturers on changes.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Reliable high-speed internet at home.
• Proficient with MS Word & Outlook.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and troubleshoot equipment with clear communication.
• Handle 30+ cases per day via phone or email.
• Use manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose issues.
• Log all customer interactions in the company database.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to document failure rates and suggest changes.
