SmartRecruiters, Inc. is recruiting a Referral Intake Specialist for the Bureau of Early Intervention in New York City. This full-time role processes EI referrals from the ACS hotline, EI Family Portal, and related channels to support infants and toddlers in need.

You will enter referrals into EI HUB, DMAS, and ASQ Online, maintain accuracy, and avoid duplicates while providing clerical support. The position requires attention to detail, solid computer skills, and good communication; bilingual

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Ability to monitor timelines and meet deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to provide other clerical support.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process EI program referrals received via the ACS hotline, EI Family Portal and/or EIBDX or fax-to-email line.
• Enter referrals into EI HUB, DMAS and ASQ Online and assign to Developmental Monitoring Specialists.
• Follow procedures to ensure information accuracy and avoid duplicates.
• Provide clerical assistance to facilitate projects or assignments for EIP.
• Perform other clerical/office duties as assigned by management.
