Job summary

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC Health Department) is seeking a Clerical Associate to support the Early Intervention and Developmental Monitoring programs. This permanent role involves processing referrals via ACS hotline or EI systems, entering data into electronic case management systems, and providing general clerical support as needed.

Qualifications: HS diploma or equivalent and one year of clerical experience; typing at least 100 keystrokes per minute.

Qualifications

• Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
• Keyboard familiarity with typing at least 100 keystrokes (20 words) per minute.

Responsibilities

• Process Early Intervention Program referrals via ACS hotline, EI Family Portal, EI Bi-directional system, or fax-to-email line.
• Enter referrals into Electronic Case Management systems (EI HUB, DMAS and ASQ Online) and assign to Developmental Monitoring Specialists.
• Ensure accuracy of information entered and avoid duplicate records.
• Provide general clerical assistance to facilitate projects for EIP.
• Perform other clerical/office duties as assigned by management.
