Axon seeks a Dedrone Professional Service Manager to own post-sales deployments of smart airspace security solutions for public safety and enterprise clients. You’ll lead end-to-end deployments, coordinate hardware logistics, provide role-based training, and ensure onboarding success.

This remote role requires 3–5 years in customer-facing roles, strong networking and drone systems knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 70% domestically.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in customer-facing roles (Professional Services, Field Engineering, Sales Engineering, Deployment).
• Direct experience deploying hardware/software solutions in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of drone systems, airspace management, RF sensing, RADAR detection, and/or UAS/DFR programs.
• Implementation of counter UAS programs.
• Deep familiarity with IP networking, SNMP, DHCP, PoE, Linux CLI, and basic system administration.
• Confident training presence; able to present technical workflows clearly to executives, end users, and technical teams alike.
• Experience working with public safety agencies particularly law enforcement or security operations, and non-public safety customers.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills; ability to own a deployment from kickoff to success.
• Willingness to travel heavily and adapt to dynamic customer needs in the field.
• FAA Part 107 certification preferred or obtained within first 3 months.
• Comfortable climbing, working on/from elevated positions, and operating hand tools.
• Hardware installation and maintenance experience of security and/or communications equipment.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end deployments, acting as primary post-sale contact including planning, logistics, on-site support, and go-live enablement.
• Deliver role-based training to drone teams, public safety operators, and IT staff across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Guide customers in creating operational policies and workflows integrating Dedrone with Axon ecosystem and UAS/DFR programs.
• Coordinate and manage third-party training and integration vendors and ensure delivery quality.
• Conduct site assessments to inform hardware placement and deployment design.
• Build and maintain deployment documentation, SOP templates, and training plans.
• Provide post-deployment monitoring and escalation, aligning stakeholders on success metrics.
