Job summary

House Buyers of America is seeking a Real Estate Acquisition Consultant to lead home purchases, follow up on leads, value properties, estimate repairs and close deals while performing comprehensive due diligence.

The role is fully remote with regular in-person meetings for prospects/clients as needed; evenings and weekends may be required to maximize deal flow and accommodate seller schedules.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sales experience.
• Ranked within the top 10% of sales staff in previous roles.
• Strong communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed quotas through phone sales.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on leads, value properties, analyze comps and acquire new homes.
• Negotiate acquisitions and dispositions of properties.
• Perform extensive due diligence on all acquisitions and prepare contracts for ratification.
• Estimate repairs and determine ARV and As-Is value of properties.
• Meet with homeowners to present offers on their properties.
• Work with realtors, buyers, lenders and title during the closing process.
