Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with US Marine Corps customer needs. You will support field trials, demonstrations, and technical proposals while traveling up to 50% and coordinating with engineering and business development teams.

Applicants should have 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech, a related degree, hands-on SDRs/Networking exposure, and a US security clearance or ability to obtain

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech roles
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, and tactical comms
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months
• U.S. citizen due to government contracts

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to radio solutions
• Plan, configure networks, and run field trials and evaluations
• Collaborate with Engineering and BD to ensure technically sound architectures
• Support demonstrations and technical responses to RFIs/RFPs
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer meetings
