Job summary

Thryv in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative to grow revenue by expanding usage with existing software clients and by prospecting new SaaS opportunities. This role spends 50%+ of time outside a home office, engaging clients, delivering demos, and guiding buyers through their journey.

You will defend small business America, build a strong pipeline, and collaborate with marketing and technology to execute the company’s sales strategy and meet a defined quota.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company).
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required.
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems
• 50% driving requirement and valid drivers license.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute)

Responsibilities

• Contacts assigned clients and presents opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage based on client needs.
• Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting (i.e. networks, referrals, etc.) and company-initiated prospecting programs.
• Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (i.e., designed cadences for client and prospect engagement, ongoing product and demo certifications, order entry requirements, centralized intake forms, etc.).
• Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
• This role calls on existing clients to nurture and grow relationships while identifying and pursuing new client opportunities to meet a predetermined sales quota.
