Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder to join our Radiology coding team in a fully remote role. You will code CT, Ultrasound, and other modalities, ensuring accurate ICD/CPT coding and adherence to CMS and regulatory guidelines.

Candidates must hold an active CPC (or other AHIMA/AAPC credentials) with radiology coding experience, and be comfortable working remotely with flexible hours and strong support resources.

Qualifications

• Active CPC or equivalent professional credential (see minimum qualifications).
• Radiology coding knowledge and experience preferred.
• Remote coding environment familiarity and ability to access coding systems.

Responsibilities

• Code medical records for Radiology (CT, Ultrasound, all modalities) following ICD/CPT guidelines.
• Abstract and assign appropriate codes with high accuracy and timely submission.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OIG, HCFA and other regulations and perform quality assurance.

Education

CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC-A, RHIA, RHIT active with AHIMA/AAPC
