Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder to join our Radiology coding team. This remote role requires CPC in active status with radiology coding experience, and offers flexible hours across the nation.

The ideal candidate will code CT, Ultrasounds and related studies, ensure accurate abstraction of medical records, and maintain compliance with CMS and related regulations. Equipment is provided after hire, with remote support and growth opportunities.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with formal training in medical coding.
• Active CPC/CCS/CCS-P/CCA/CPC-A/RHIA or RHIT in good standing.
• Six months of professional coding experience, preferably radiology.
• Knowledge of ICD-CM and CPT4 coding guidelines.
• Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and self-discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Code radiology procedures (CT, Ultrasound, other modalities) per guidelines.
• Abstract medical records and document diagnoses and procedures in EMR.
• Consult with providers and QA analysts for clarification and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OIG, HCFA, Medicaid rules and company standards.
• Prepare daily/monthly reports and support remote team activities.
