Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to monitor and improve operational performance and ensure compliance with quality standards and contracts. The role conducts audits, analyzes performance data, identifies trends, and supports corrective actions to enhance service quality and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the relevant field and 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, compliance monitoring, auditing, operations analysis, process improvement, or performance management.
• Demonstrated experience conducting audits and quality reviews to evaluate compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate operational data, identify trends, assess gaps, determine root causes, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Experience developing and presenting routine and ad hoc performance reports to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to ensure quality metric requirements are met.
• Collaborate in developing and updating procedures as changes occur.
• Analyze performance reports and provide solutions to identified issues.
• Develop routine and ad hoc project performance reports and research solutions to issues.
• Perform monitoring activities and audits to support the project and quality programs.
• Identify trends in quality program data and implement corrective action plans.
• Assist in monitoring performance to meet contractual requirements using system applications.
• Support staff materials, knowledge resources, and training to achieve quality goals.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of key initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
