Job summary

Navitus is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Assurance Automation to lead a team of QA testers and advance test automation across web, mobile, and API platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on testing with strategic leadership, focusing on scalable automation and continuous improvement of QA practices.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in QA, strong experience with Jira/Azure DevOps, and cloud testing in AWS or Azure, with HIPAA knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
ISTQB: Agile Testing or Foundation Level Testing preferred.
6+ years of experience in QA/testing roles.
Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps.
Experience testing cloud-native applications (AWS/Azure).
Demonstrated data privacy practices and HIPAA knowledge preferred.
Experience managing projects and resources.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA testers, setting performance expectations.
Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
Ensure high-quality software through test planning and robust automated testing.
Support multiple Scrum teams/PODs; 70% hands-on work, 30% leadership.
Evaluate QA tools and processes; drive automation strategy improvements.
Establish team standards and guidelines for scalable automation frameworks.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD.
Supervise staff and plan staffing levels; recruit and orient new hires.
