Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is hiring a Supervisor of Quality Assurance Automation to lead a team of QA professionals and advance our automated testing strategy across web, mobile, and API platforms. You will design scalable automation frameworks and ensure robust testing within agile teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership (≈70%) with mentoring responsibilities (≈30%), and requires experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, and cloud-native testing on AWS or Azure, plus HIPAA awareness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
ISTQB: Agile Testing or Foundation Level Testing preferred.
6+ years of experience required.
Experience with agile methodologies and agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc., required.
Experience testing cloud-native applications in public clouds (AWS or Azure); AWS preferred.
Knowledge of data privacy practices and HIPAA preferred.
Experience managing projects and resources.
Healthcare industry practices and HIPAA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of QA testers with clear direction and performance expectations.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
Ensure high-quality software through test planning, functional testing, and robust automated testing.
Support multiple Scrum teams.
Hands-on role (about 70%) with light people leadership (about 30%).
Evaluate QA tools and drive continuous automation improvements.
Establish team standards and guidelines for scalable automation.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps to CI/CD integration.
Supervise staff and plan staffing levels; conduct interviews and orientation.
Represent the team in meetings.
