Job summary

Samsara Inc. is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive for the Public Sector, fully remote in the Southwest (AZ, CO, NV, UT).

You will own the sales cycle from prospecting to close, building executive relationships and leading multi-stakeholder negotiations for deals typically ranging from $20k to $250k. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in full-cycle sales to public sector customers, a proven quota overachievement record, and strong SFDC forecasting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
• Experience selling full-cycle sales into complex environments (Public Sector - Local Gov, K-12, High Education).
• Strong track record of overachievement to quota.
• Cold calling, generating outreach, building relationships excites you.
• Solid understanding of SFDC and accurate forecasting methodology.
• Must be able to travel up to twice per quarter for onsites.

Responsibilities

• Develop Executive-Level relationships within your territory
• Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
• Demonstrate excellent solution-based sales process in complex sales campaigns
• Strategically outbound prospect
