Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Application Specialist to manage deployment of public safety software across North America. This senior role requires strong technical and project management skills to ensure seamless integration and performance of applications.

The position is remote with extensive travel (up to 75%). The candidate should have 3+ years in a Public Safety IT environment, a related bachelor’s degree, and the ability to obtain required security clearances.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Public Safety Information technology environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational assessments and discovery events for Public Safety processes.
• Evaluate and recommend configuration and deployment of Motorola software solutions.
• Facilitate business process reengineering and workshops with stakeholders.
• Design and deliver training curricula for end-users of software implementations.
• Define and lead User Acceptance Testing processes with clear success criteria.
• Coordinate with internal teams to tailor COTS software to client use cases.
• Support project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
