Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Applications Specialist to lead workflow delivery for Public Safety software deployments. The role involves analyzing current processes, recommending configurations, and guiding agencies through adoption of our enterprise tools.

Remote role with about 50% travel; candidates must be near a major airport. Strong analytical, presentation, and documentation skills are essential, and CJIS/Background requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with public safety software integration and deployment.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of business processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in creating documentation, presentations, and spreadsheets.
• Experience in UAT facilitation and project lifecycle collaboration.
• Knowledge of software deployment methodologies and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational assessments, business process reviews, and discovery events for public safety agencies.
• Provide tailored recommendations for configuring Motorola solutions to address needs.
• Facilitate business process reengineering and run workshops to develop new processes.
• Design and deliver training curricula to ensure end-user adoption of new tools.
• Define and coordinate UAT processes and document results against requirements.
• Liaise with technical teams to adapt COTS software to client use cases.
• Support project managers to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
