Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Applications Specialist to lead workflow delivery for public safety software deployments. You will assess current processes, tailor configurations, and guide customers through training and UAT while collaborating with engineers and project managers.

This remote role requires travel to support implementations across the U.S. The position emphasizes strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to drive process improvements in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, or related field, or 3+ years in public safety IT.
• 3+ years in Public Safety, CAD, RMIS, or jail applications.
• Self-motivated team player with general guidance toward objectives.
• Must obtain background clearance for government customers.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational assessments, business process reviews, and other discovery events to understand customer processes.
• Evaluate workflows and recommend configurations of Motorola's software to address needs.
• Facilitate business process reengineering with workshops and changes.
• Design and deliver training curriculum for end users.
• Define, coordinate, and lead UAT, document results against requirements.
• Liaise between technical teams and customers to communicate needs.
• Support project management to ensure timely software delivery.
• Present analysis results and project updates to stakeholders.
