Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is hiring a Software Application Specialist to manage deployment of our public safety software suite across complex ecosystems. This remote role requires travel up to 75% to support on-site engagements and ensure successful implementations.

You will lead discovery, assess current processes, design training, facilitate UAT, and collaborate with engineers and project managers to tailor COTS solutions for government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years in a Public Safety IT environment.
• Experience with public safety software deployment and process improvement is preferred.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery events and document findings in customer processes.
• Evaluate current workflows and recommend configuration of COTS solutions.
• Facilitate business process reengineering and workshops with clients.
• Design, develop, and deliver training curricula for end users.
• Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing with customers.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to tailor software to client needs.
• Support project lifecycle from inception to delivery under scope and budget.
