Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Application Specialist to manage deployment of our public safety software suite within complex ecosystems across North America. This role blends technical expertise with project management to ensure seamless integration and high performance of our applications.

You will lead discovery, analyze workflows, facilitate process improvements, design training, coordinate UAT, and work with engineers and project managers to tailor COTS solutions to client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Project Management.
• 3+ years of Public Safety IT experience (e.g., CAD, RMS, or jail apps).
• Ability to obtain US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery events to document customer business processes.
• Evaluate current workflows and propose configurations of Motorola's software.
• Facilitate business process reengineering workshops.
• Design and deliver training curricula for end users.
• Define and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to tailor COTS software to client use cases.
• Support project managers to ensure timely, within-scope delivery.
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders with clear presentations.
