Job summary

Axon is seeking an Account Executive for Air products (drones and counter-drone solutions) to drive complex engagements with law enforcement agencies across a national territory. You will partner with the Key Account Leader, serve as a strategic advisor, and manage important partner relationships to deliver real-time operational outcomes.

You will own account strategy, forecast, and customer relationships, with ~60% travel and a focus on consultative, end-to-end sales that scale Axon’s Air

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• ~5+ years in a SaaS Account Executive role.
• ~ Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience.
• ~ Highly proficient computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• ~ Willing to travel 60% or more within your territory.
• ~ Strong understanding of drones, cloud and virtualization technology.
• ~ Able to strategically approach and win accounts and grow existing ones.
• ~ End to end sales process experience: prospecting, discovery, objection handling, closing.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep technical understanding of Axon’s Air products to sell into domestic law enforcement agencies.
• Partner with Axon sales team as a functional expert on the Air program to sell Air offerings.
• Leverage alerts, RFPs and other sources to generate leads and pursue opportunities.
• Be customer-centric: map customer business/workflows and build contact networks to drive satisfaction.
• Develop and execute account strategy with the team to deliver strong value propositions.
• Forecast, manage accounts in Salesforce, and provide competitive feedback to marketing.
• Track customer activity to identify additional opportunities and execute on strategy.
