Job summary

Axon is seeking an Account Executive for Air products (drones and counter-drone solutions) to drive complex engagements with public safety agencies across a multi-state territory. You’ll partner with the Sales Director and broader Axon team to sell Air as a defined offering, blending technical depth with strategic account planning.

This remote role requires 60% travel, strong SaaS selling experience, and a consultative approach to win new business and expand existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience
• 5+ years in a SaaS Account Executive role
• Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Strong organization and presentation skills
• Willing to travel 60%+ within territory (3-4 days a week)
• Strong understanding of drones, cloud and virtualization technology
• Strategic account approach to win and grow accounts
• Team player who supports colleagues to success
• End-to-end sales process expertise (prospecting, discovery, objection handling, closing)

Responsibilities

• Develop deep technical understanding of Axon’s Air products to sell domestically
• Partner with the Axon sales team as a functional expert for the Air program
• Leverage alerts, RFPs, and other sources to generate leads
• Be customer-centric, develop contact networks, and drive customer happiness
• Develop and execute account strategy with team collaboration
• Forecast, update management, track competitors, and inform marketing
• Track customer activity in Salesforce and other systems to execute strategy
