Job summary

Axon is seeking an Account Executive for Air products to drive complex engagements with law enforcement agencies across the territory. You will partner with the Key Account Leader and Axon’s sales team to sell drone, counter-drone, and Drone as First Responder solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to public safety leaders.

Location: Remote in territory; travel 60%+; applicants must live within 1 hour of a major airport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent applicable experience.
• 5+ years in a SaaS Account Executive role.
• Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience.
• Highly proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Willing to travel 60%+ within territory (3-4 days a week, including overnights).
• Strong understanding of drones, cloud and virtualization technology.
• Able to strategically approach and win accounts as well as grow existing accounts.
• Collaborative team player who supports teammates to reach success.
• Focus on a Solutions/Consultative sales process for long-term success.
• End-to-end sales process experience including prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and closing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep technical understanding of Axon’s Air products to sell into domestic law enforcement agencies across your territory.
• Partner with the broader Axon sales team as a functional expert on the Air program.
• Leverage alerts, RFPs and other sources to generate leads and pursue opportunities.
• Be customer-centric and develop a contact network within accounts to drive customer happiness.
• Develop and execute account strategy with the team to deliver stronger value propositions.
• Make forecast predictions, update management, track competitor activity, and provide feedback to marketing for improvement.
• Track customer activity in Salesforce and other systems to identify opportunities.
