Job summary

Mark43 seeks a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join our Compliance & Reporting customer team. This fully remote role builds configurable reports enabling Mark43 to expand into new markets and meet state-specific reporting requirements across jurisdictions.

You will work with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions, develop forms/workflows, and improve compliance tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience in the public safety technology space.
• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Forms.io experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements.
• Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges with customers to identify product improvements.
• Help establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand new team.
• Write and maintain scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improve internal documentation and tooling to simplify building, maintaining, and scaling compliance reporting.
