Job summary

Mark43 in the United States is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to help build a new team responsible for configurable reports that enable expansion into new markets and compliance with state and agency reporting requirements.

You will collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions while shaping processes and best practices for growth.

Qualifications

• Professional experience working in the public safety technology space.
• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions. Forms.io is strongly preferred.
• Experience with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript and JSON.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Built and configured reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements, helping customers deploy in new jurisdictions.
• Partnered with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate reporting needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows that reduce customization while meeting diverse customer requirements.
• Worked with customers to troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges and identify opportunities to improve the product.
• Helped establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand new team that will drive Mark43's growth.
• Wrote and maintained scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improved internal documentation and tooling to make compliance reporting easier to build, maintain, and scale.
