Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to help build a brand-new team responsible for configurable reports enabling expansion into new markets and jurisdictions. You’ll design forms, workflows, and automation to meet state requirements and partner with Customer Success and Engineering to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes solving customer problems, building scalable processes from the ground up, and collaborating across product, engineering, and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Professional experience working in the public safety technology space.
• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions; Forms.io experience preferred.
• Experience with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success and other teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with customers when needed.
• Customer-obsessed and collaborative mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure reporting forms satisfying state-specific compliance requirements for new jurisdictions.
• Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges with customers to identify product improvements.
• Establish engineering standards and best practices for a brand-new team supporting growth.
• Write and maintain scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improve internal docs and tooling to simplify compliance reporting at scale.
