Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer for a fully remote role within Mark43's approved states. You will help build configurable reports that enable expansion into new markets and jurisdictions, aligning with state and agency reporting requirements.

You will collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to translate customer needs into scalable solutions and establish processes for a new team that supports growth and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in the public safety technology space.
• Ability to build or configure forms, workflows, or reporting solutions (Forms.io preferred).
• Proficiency with scripting/configuration languages such as JavaScript and JSON.
• Strong problem-solving and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other teams.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with customers.

Responsibilities

• You would have built and configured state-specific compliance reporting forms for new jurisdictions.
• Translate customer reporting needs into scalable technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges with customers and identify product improvements.
• Help establish engineering standards and best practices for a brand-new team.
