Job summary

Mark43 is looking for a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on building configurable reports that enable expansion into new markets and jurisdictions, ensuring state and agency-specific compliance.

You will work with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate needs into scalable technical solutions. Our team develops forms, workflows, and automation scripts using JavaScript and JSON, while improving internal tooling and

Qualifications

Experience in public safety technology and building or configuring reporting forms/workflows.
Experience translating customer reporting needs into scalable technical solutions.
Forms.io experience is strongly preferred.
Scripting with JavaScript or JSON to support form configuration.
Ability to collaborate across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other teams.
Excellent communication when working directly with customers.

Responsibilities

Build and configure reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance.
Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate needs into solutions.
Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization.
Troubleshoot reporting and compliance issues with customers and identify product improvements.
Help establish engineering standards for a brand new team.
