Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join a brand-new team focused on building configurable reports for compliance and expansion into new markets. This role supports customers across jurisdictions and directly impacts deployment speed and platform compliance.

You will collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to design scalable reporting solutions, develop forms and workflows, and drive standardization as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in public safety technology is required.
• Experience building or configuring forms/workflows; Forms.io preferred.
• Experience with JavaScript/JSON or similar scripting languages.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure reporting forms for state-specific compliance.
• Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges with customers and identify product improvements.
• Help establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for the new team.
• Write and maintain scripts using JavaScript, JSON to support form configuration.
• Improve internal documentation and tooling to simplify compliant reporting.
