Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Applications Specialist to deliver workflow implementations for public safety agencies. You will advise on how our software integrates into agency workflows, and help tailor configurations to meet client needs.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while traveling up to half of the time to client sites. Candidates must reside near a major airport in the US and pass background checks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering or related field or 3+ years in public safety IT.
3+ years in Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD, RM Systems, or Jail Applications.
Self-motivated team player able to work with minimal guidance.
Able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers.
US work authorization; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Lead operational assessments, business process reviews, and discovery events to map current processes.
Evaluate processes to identify improvement opportunities and tailor configurations of Motorola solutions.
Facilitate business process reengineering and conduct workshops to redesign workflows.
Design and deliver training materials and guide customers through training sessions.
Coordinate UAT and measure outcomes against requirements matrix.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet client needs.
