Job summary

PSI Services is seeking a Proposal Writer to craft persuasive, compliant responses and articulate our value to clients. You will drive narrative development with the Bid Manager, shaping win themes and coordinating with Business Development to deliver polished, client-focused proposals.

The role is full-time with US remote work, flexible hours, and occasional travel for training or collaboration. 3+ years in strategic writing and experience in proposal environments are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field; equivalent experience in proposal or technical writing considered.
• 3+ years of experience in strategic writing, proposal development, or business communications.
• Familiarity with compliance-driven industries and proposal environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the tone, flow, and strategic messaging across all proposal content.
• Read and analyze RFPs, RFIs, and questionnaires to identify requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Develop tailored win themes, value propositions, and persuasive messaging.
• Write and edit executive summaries, solution descriptions, cover letters, and compliance matrices.
• Collaborate with Business Development to shape win themes and position our solution.
• Translate SME input into clear content for client audiences; ask clarifying questions when needed.
• Propose visuals to enhance storytelling and structure complex ideas.
• Manage a full proposal lifecycle from RFP analysis to final submission if needed.
• Use AI and automation tools to accelerate content development.
• Capture updated content into a shared library for future use.
• Review and refine SME-provided text for voice, style, and consistency.
